UMT Model United Nations is a three-day international relations simulation for high school students to be held annually in UMT. At UMTMUN, delegates gain insight into the workings of the United Nations and the dynamics of international relations by assuming the roles of UN representatives and members of their international bodies and national cabinets. UMTMUN is an exciting opportunity for students to debate issues that confront world leaders and to draft resolutions in response to these global issues including international peace and security and economic and social progress. Participants will develop their abilities to work with others who are equally motivated and passionate about the topics of debate and to respond to global concerns.
The participants are polished to be Orators, Debaters and they are taught to be aware of the global issues and the surroundings. Recently, Office of Participant Affairs (OPA) has launched the MUN wing whose motto is “It’s Your World – Shape It!” which will provide the platform to participate in all the MUN’s around the country as well as internationally.
